He is able...

to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine...

Did you happen to see those words in yesterday's post?

Let me back up and share the past few months with you...

July 24th, Hannah and Regina accepted to the Ethiopia mission trip team!

To do list:
1) Order Hannah's passport (plus a few others)
Bump in the road:  Hannah does not have certified copy of birth certificate... needed to obtain passport.

2) Order certified copy of Hannah's birth certificate
Birth certificate arrives.
Bump in the road: Ben and Regina have no checks...
Ben and Regina have no physical bank to get a money order to pay the government for passport.
Regina is starting to stress...

3) Order checks
Bump in the road: Checks do not arrive.  Checks do not arrive.  Checks do not arrive.
Regina is stressing!
Ben calls and order was not processed.

4) Reorder checks... expedite them!
 Checks arrive.
On Saturday, September 15th Hannah's passport is ordered...
Regina is a little stressed... but the passport is ordered!
Bump in the road:  Saturday, September 22nd, Regina receives a text.  Church needs Hannah's passport information to order plane tickets.  If passport doesn't come soon, Hannah may not be able to go on trip.
Regina is really stressing now!

5) Call passport people Monday the 24th to try to expedite the passport...
just one week and two days after ordering!
Bump in the road: Wait patiently!  Give it to God!  Stop stressing... start trusting!

Thursday the 27th, three days after expediting the passport...
Hannah's passport has been moved from human hands to our hands!

...He is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine...

All My Fountains

Hi, All!

I want to personally thank you all for your donations to support Hannah (and me) for
our upcoming mission trip to Ethiopia!
I am overwhelmed with gratitude at your generous gifts!

I wanted to ask all you prayer warriors for a couple of requests...

First... we have experienced some forks in the road with Hannah's passport.

Please pray that God will move human hands to bring that passport into our hands as soon as possible.
A dear woman on our team reminded me of these words from Ephesians 3:20...
He is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine...

My second request is for our team and the lives we encounter on this trip.
I am including a link to one of my most favorite songs.

As you listen to these words, will you please make it your prayer?
Will you please pray these words for our team...
pray these words for the women and children we encounter...
pray these words for anyone else we may come in contact with...

May God rain down on each and everyone one of us...
May all our fountains be in Him!

And I want you to know, I have prayed these words for all of you as well.

May God rain down on each of you...
May all your fountains be in Him!

Hugs and blessings to each of you!

Lots of Love
